Their first EP, Acronyms, introduced the single “ILYSB” (I Love You So Bad), a track that quickly became an anthem for heartbroken lovers and went viral among young listeners seeking more than a typical love song. LANY offered a soft blend of electronic pop and indie rock, with lyrics that spoke directly to the heart raw, unfiltered, and honest.
In 2017, their self-titled debut album solidified them on the alternative scene. But it was with Malibu Nights (2018) that they truly burst emotionally. Written after Paul Klein’s breakup, the album is an open letter to heartbreak.
